The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Strategy provides leadership across major institutional priorities, including strategic planning and initiatives, policy development, administrative accountability, and universitywide communications. The role also oversees issues management, coordinates cross-campus collaboration, and directs high-impact special projects that support the university’s long-term goals.
Leadership

Robin Kaler serves as chief of staff and vice chancellor for administrative strategy. In this role, she advises the chancellor and provides leadership for strategic initiatives, policy development, administrative accountability, communications, issues management, and special projects. Robin has been with the university since 1989 and holds three degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign — a bachelor’s and a master’s in Journalism, and a Master of Business Administration.
